In reply, Pakistan lodged a counter-complaint against India on 15th January 1948 and had also requested the Security Council to deal with other disputes between India and Pakistan, including Junagadh. As a result, a Security Council meeting was held on 16th January, 1948 with the agenda “Jammu and Kashmir Question” in which the Kashmir issue was discussed.
