Muzaffarabad(PFP News) ( 24 April, 2021) Medical Relief International (MRI)- a UK based humanitarian organisation, has successfully managed to distribute food packages among 425 Vulnerable Families throughout Azad Kashmir. Food Packages were provided to orphans, widows and needy people in various parts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (commonly known as AJK). AJK is Medical Relief International's first venture lead by a group of British Kashmiri volunteers Esharat Nasar-Ahmed and Nasar Ahmed together with a team of local volunteers. Muzaffarabad Report: Zubair Uddin Arfi Three young mountaineers from Muzaffarabad while paying tribute to Muhammad Ali Sadpara have successfully climbed the famous "Makra Peak" located in Behri Pattehka District Muzaffarabad. This peak also connects Pakistani controlled Kashmir with Hazara Region of the Himalayas. The Makra Peak is 3,885 metres (12,746 ft) high. Muhammad Ali Sadpara was a Pakistani high altitude mountaineer who together with two other trying to climb K2, the world's second highest peak at 8,611m (28,251 ft) and also reputedly the deadliest. By Zubair Ud Din Arfi / Farooq Mughal : Muzaffarabad / / A Pakistan origin British woman set a glorious example by rebuilding an earthquake affected primary school in a far-flung village of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). 28-year-old Shireen Khan met the total expenditure of newly constructed building from her own pocket by spending all her savings that she earned while working for overtime. Shireen Khan who is a nurse by profession, inaugurated the newly built primary school on Monday. She runs a charity known as Carrot Kids. Islamabad (PR): The British High Commission has held a reception in Islamabad to recognize the incredible achievement of the ten Nepalese climbers who became the first expedition in winter to reach the summit of Pakistan’s K2, the world’s second-highest mountain at 8,611 meters (28,251 feet).
