The sky is blue, yet feels empty too,
Without your smile, my heart is missing you.
Your loving eyes, like shining stars up high,
Illuminate my world, and catch my sigh.

The sun’s warm touch, now feels like winter’s chill,
Your absence silences the world’s vibrant thrill.
Colors dull and fade, like a painting left to dry,
Without your presence, my world asks “why?”

In class, the silence is deafening and grey,
Your voice, a melody, that brightened up each day.
I gaze up at the stars, and make a wish so true,
To be reunited with you, and feel my heart anew.

I’ll wait for you, through dawn’s early light,
Until the day we meet again, and everything’s alright.
I wish that day would come soon, and end this emptiness,
So we can laugh, love, and live, in happiness.
