As the holy month of Ramadan comes to an end, we rejoice in the blessings it has bestowed upon us. This sacred month is a time of reflection, devotion, and gratitude, bringing countless rewards for Muslims around the world.
First and foremost, I would like to extend my heartfelt Eid Mubarak to the entire Muslim community. Indeed, Ramadan is a month of holiness, teaching us patience, sacrifice, generosity, unity, and loyalty. It instills within us the importance of helping those in need and understanding the struggles of those who cannot afford a meal. Each day of Ramadan carries its own significance, bringing us closer to Allah through prayers, fasting, and acts of kindness.
We are truly blessed that Allah grants us multiple opportunities for repentance and spiritual growth throughout this month. The first ten days of Ramadan emphasize seeking Allah’s mercy, urging us to sincerely repent for our past mistakes. As Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, Ramadan is a time for mercy, forgiveness, and gratitude toward Allah. The second ten days are a period of seeking forgiveness, allowing those who have sinned to repent sincerely.
One of the most special nights in Ramadan is Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Power, which is better than a thousand months. On this night, prayers, repentance, heartfelt supplications, and wishes are readily accepted. Additionally, the Fridays of Ramadan hold immense blessings, as they are days when prayers are more likely to be accepted.
Alhamdulillah, we are fortunate to have experienced these blessed days, and now, as Ramadan concludes, we prepare to celebrate Eid. Eid is a time of immense joy, gratitude, and togetherness. The most fortunate Muslims are those who have witnessed and embraced the virtues of Ramadan and can now celebrate Eid with a heart full of faith and happiness.
Eid is a day of celebration, where families, friends, and loved ones come together in happiness. Children, in particular, eagerly await this day, thrilled about their new clothes, gifts, and festivities. Wearing new clothes on Eid is a Sunnah, and everyone should take part in this beautiful tradition.
Eid is also a time to cherish our loved ones, both those who are present and those whom we have lost. Many people find themselves missing family members who are no longer with them, and my heart goes out to them. While I, too, miss those who are far from me, I am grateful for the ones who are with me today.
As we celebrate, let us also remember to pray for the safety and prosperity of our beloved country. May Allah protect it and grant peace, unity, and progress to our nation. May every Muslim be blessed with joy, safety, and good health.
I extend my sincerest wishes for a blessed and joyous Eid to all. May this Eid bring happiness, prosperity, and peace to every home. Stay safe, stay happy, and cherish these beautiful moments with your loved ones
