Beneath the rubble, dreams still lie,
In Gaza’s heart, a muted cry.
A truce declared, the guns now still,
But scars remain—they always will.

Children step where shadows played,
On streets where dreams were torn and frayed.
The air is still, the cries subdued,
But wounds remain in solemn mood.

Let the ceasefire mark the start,
Of healing wounds and mending hearts.
Yet in our souls, the truth is met:
We will neither forgive nor forget.

Will this truce heal what war has scarred?
Can trust rebuild what hate has marred?
The people wait with bated breath,
For lasting peace, not fleeting death.

Oh Gaza, rise, your spirit strong,
Your voice will shape a brighter song.
And as dawn breaks, let us see,
A future where all hearts are free.
