Mazhar Iqbal Mazhar is a Kashmiri writer, author, and educator based in London. His first book, “Bahawalpur main ajnabi” (Urdu), was published in December 2021. The book is a reflective account of the author’s visit to the historic city of Bahawalpur. This is a mix of a travelog-style depiction of short trips to the inner city of Bahawalpur interspersed with two short stories. A literary experiment like this could be described as an interpolation of fiction into a travel story.
