Once upon a time, in England, there lived two best friends, Ayesha and Faiza. They were Muslims who had been inseparable until a minor disagreement drove them apart.

As Ramadan approached, both girls began preparing for the holy month. They cleaned and decorated their rooms, accompanied their parents for grocery shopping, and made other necessary arrangements.

However, their families noticed the rift between the two friends. One day, Ayesha confided in her elder brother, Saad, about completing her Ramadan preparations. Saad asked if she had apologized to Faiza or forgiven her. Ayesha replied that she hadn’t.

Saad explained that the true essence of Ramadan preparation lies in forgiving others, regardless of who was at fault. He emphasized the importance of praying regularly, speaking kindly, refraining from foul language, maintaining cleanliness, and being compassionate.

Inspired by her brother’s words, Ayesha decided to apologize to Faiza. The next day, accompanied by Saad, Ayesha visited Faiza’s house and extended her apologies. The two friends were overjoyed to reunite, and Ayesha thanked Saad for guiding her toward the true spirit of Ramadan.

Saad further explained that Ramadan is not merely about abstaining from food and drink; it’s a time for Muslims to strengthen their bond with God, demonstrate kindness, and practice patience. Ramadan holds immense significance in Islamic history, as it was during this month that the Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as guidance for Muslims.

Ayesha and Faiza took Saad’s words to heart and made a conscious effort to embody the values of Ramadan. During the Night of Power, they reflected on Saad’s advice and committed to upholding the principles of Ramadan forever.
