A border clash, a whispered feud,
A drone that flew where none else should.
A city razed, a silence broke,
One leader laughed, the other spoke.
They called it just a skirmish small,
A ripple on the global wall.
But ripples grew as lies were fed,
And ash replaced the roses red.
One nation cried, “We must defend,”
Another vowed it’s not the end.
Missiles hummed like lullabies,
Beneath the smoke of bloodstained skies.
The oceans turned from blue to black,
As fleets advanced, then fired back.
Satellites fell, the networks died,
And truth was buried where bombs lied.
No banners waved, no victors cheered,
Just children lost, and mothers feared.
Each little war, a spark ignored,
Till all the earth became the sword.
Now prayers are said in bunkers deep,
While angels over ruins weep.
For peace was sold in silent deals,
And now the world forgets how healing feels.
So let the past be lesson’s cry,
That little wars, when left to lie,
Will grow like storms from scattered rain,
And flood the earth in endless pain.
